Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles for Sale
No Vehicles available for sale at the moment.
While converting new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) is our main focus, we also offer second-hand and demo model WAVs for sale from time to time. Most of these vehicles have only ever been used for Automobility demonstrations, but we occasionally get customer trade-in vehicles too.
The main benefits of purchasing a mobility vehicle that has already been converted include, not having to wait months for your conversion and the lower cost. However, you may not be able to get a car with all the modifications and custom features you wanted. Another benefit of purchasing a wheelchair car from Automobility, is knowing that your conversion meets the highest quality and Australian safety standards!
Type of cars:
The most common wheelchair accessible cars we’ve sold recently have been 2013 – 2017 model Kia Carnival’s with either a row 2 or 3 conversion. These vehicles are a very popular and practical choice for families with private and community transport, but if you’re looking for a different type of car or a Drive from Wheelchair Vehicle, please contact us so we can get an understanding of your needs.
What to look out for:
Aside from the make and model and the wheelchair position, some other vehicle features that may affect both its cost and suitability for disability include: the fuel and transmission type, wheelchair entry point (rear or side), automatic or manual access ramp and any warranty remaining on that vehicle. These features are clearly listed in our Vehicles for Sale Ads below to help you find the best vehicle for you.
All our wheelchair accessible vehicles come with a warranty ranging from a 3-month statutory warranty to balance full range of new car warranty, depending on the age and mileage on each of the cars. You will also have access to the assistance from our national servicing and repair network, delivered through our trusted and experienced partners at Pedders Suspension – should you ever need it!
We have a range of offices, consultants and vehicles all across Australia, so if you’re interested in purchasing a wheelchair accessible vehicle, give us a call or fill out an enquiry form – we can even come to you, no matter what state, city or town you’re in.
